Although the free version will limit calls to 40 minutes, Zoom Basic is the most full-featured free video-conferencing service you can get. The platform is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android and the layout will be slightly different depending on whether you are on desktop or mobile. Organizers can create recurring meetings with saved settings and one URL, see who attended, collect information from attendees, record calls as video and have collaborative annotation sessions. HD video is not the standard for zoom and users are required to download an app for their browser.

OnZoom is Zoom’s new platform and marketplace for online events which provides a venue for concerts, classes and other ticketed and non-ticketed online experiences. Users can list and sell tickets to events for up to 1,000 attendees depending on their Meeting license. OnZoom allows users to schedule and host one-time events, and series, search the directory of public events and purchase tickets online, share and promote public events via email and social media, search the directory of public events and purchase tickets online and securely pay for events via PayPal and major credit cards.
