The Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling Medium F-W is a microphone in much the same way that a Lamborghini is a car. It’s a high-performance, high-tech piece of precision equipment that does much more than a typical mic. It is a disc that hangs from a meeting room ceiling, and contains 15 individual microphones. This array makes it possible to “aim” the sound at whomever is speaking. It can be powered by an Ethernet connection, provides encryption of the sound data, and can even control cameras to point at the person who is talking. It is only available as part of a total conference room kit.
